We seek a dedicated individual who will be responsible for performing various mechanical maintenance and repair work including the inspection and maintenance work required for rotating machinery and equipment. The mechanic may inspect and adjust the mechanical alignment of pumps, replace or rebuild pumps, replace fan bearings, replace motors, repair screw conveyors, rebuild or change gearboxes, install and modify piping, assist in the modification of; or addition of plant projects.


To qualify you must have at least five (5) years experience in the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment. A High School Diploma, formal technical or apprenticeship training is desired. The mechanic must be able to read blueprints and should be capable of cutting scopes and performing welding in SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, welding of stainless, inconel, etc. and must be a Certified Code Welder. Strong leadership and motivational skills, valid driver's license, ability to stay alert while sitting for long periods of time, work in close quarters and confined spaces, climb ladders and structures, tolerate heights, tolerate high temperatures an lift up to 50 pounds is also required. Certified Code Welder is desired, must be proficient welder able to obtain certification.
