This is a senior level environmental consulting role providing consulting services to outside clients. This role will interact directly with clients and will be responsible for the cultivation and maintenance of strong client relationships. This position will have the responsibility to develop a portfolio of clients and staff to support their needs and their client's needs.

Key responsibilities, deliverables and expectations:

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Conduct multi-disciplined environmental compliance audits and environmental investigations in various subject matters (e.g. air, water, land, and waste) and develop applicable corrective actions to ensure that clients remain in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements;
  • Prepare technical reports, letters, permit application packets, etc. to ensure that clients remain in compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Develop complete and accurate air quality permits for minor sources, as well as Title V, PSD, and New Source Review compliance. Verbal and written interaction with local regulators to steward permit application review and issuance.
  • Perform multiple tasks within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
  • Interact and maintain successful relationships with clients, employees, and subcontractors.

Position requires excellent time management skills while maintaining a high level of existing client satisfaction.

 


Education:

Bachelor's degree or above in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Safety Science, or related field

 

Experience:

 

  • A minimum of 3 years of direct environmental consulting or industrial experience in the realm of environmental permitting and compliance management under a variety of state and federal regulatory structures.

 

  • Working knowledge of Federal and State Environmental Regulations, as related to air, water, land, and waste management.

 

  • Knowledge and experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) a plus

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Excellent project management, analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent oral communication skills and technical writing skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
  • Possess strong attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving skills

 

 

Certifications (if applicable):

Certification as applicable to specific practice areas

 

Other Requirements:

This position is primarily an office position; however, routine field and project site visits and off site meetings at client locations will be required. It is anticipated that this position will require the ability to travel up 25%.
