The successful candidate would be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and implementing and maintaining environmental management systems and programs at the Covanta Plymouth Renewable Energy Facility located in Conshohocken, PA. Responsibilities include the review and analysis of continuous emission monitoring systems data; agency report preparation and submittals; environmental permitting support; maintenance of key environmental records and documents, residue and wastewater testing; and functioning as the primary liaison with state and local regulatory agencies. This position involves performing environmental compliance assessments; documenting compliance status and making recommendations on corrective action required to achieve compliance; and providing guidance and training on managing compliance.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, environmental science, or equivalent field and 3-5 years’ experience in the environmental permitting/compliance field; preferably in air quality compliance (including Title V compliance). A working knowledge of Pennsylvania and federal environmental regulations in air, waste, and water is desired. The individual must have strong written and oral communication skills, an ability to work cooperatively within the regulatory framework, and strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Office applications.
