We seek a dedicated individual who will handle routine and emergency maintenance of the facility's electrical and control systems and equipment.  Must have a strong electrical background, including experience in instrument calibration, PLC and DCS programming/troubleshooting. In addition, the candidate must also possess skills for the maintenance, repair, and operation of field controllers, instrumentation, motor control centers, and other power plant electrical equipment, ranging from 24 VDC to 13.8kV.



Must have high school diploma and/or formal technical training, be able to work at heights, work on a rotating shift, and be available for call-outs.  Demonstrated safe work habits and environmental monitoring knowledge is a plus.  

To be considered for this position, the individual must have at least five years of experience as a Maintenance Instrumentation/Electrician in a power plant or a similar field. Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, coupled with the ability to work from P&ID's and schematics, for equipment installation or troubleshooting, is required.

Must have a High School diploma or GED. Additional formal technical training (Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Military Electrical/Electronics technical training) is preferred. Knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley SLC-500 and Control Logix), Bailey Infi/NET90 DCS, crane electrical controls, pneumatics, hydraulics and Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) is a plus.
